Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s Devara: Part 1 is set to release tomorrow amid huge buzz. Not just fans, several celebrities are equally excited including Vijay Deverakonda. How do we know? On Wednesday, the actor added the trailer of the upcoming film on Instagram stories, extending his heartfelt wishes to the team. Sharing the trailer, he wrote, “Waitingg for and wishing Tarak anna, Siva sir, Janhvi Kapoor and Anirudh official a big bigggg blockbuster this weekend (sic) All hail Devara.”

Helmed by Kortala Siva, Devara: Part 1 is set against a coastal backdrop, exploring the tale of a man fighting for the rights of his own people. In the film, Janhvi Kapoor plays Jr NTR’s love interest whereas Saif Ali Khan will be seen as an antagonist. Apart from the lead trio, the film will also feature Meka Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Chaithra Rai, Abhimanyu Singh and Kalaiyarasan in crucial roles.
Produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni, Kosaraju Harikrishna, and Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Devara boasts music by Anirudh Ravichander. Interestingly, the film will be released in theaters in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages on September 27.
At the trailer launch of Devara, Jr NTR admitted being nervous about his upcoming release as he said, “I am very nervous because this is my next film after RRR. It was with my co-actor Ram Charan but this is my solo release after six years so there is a lot of nervousness which is building but very happy to launch the trailer of Devara in the city of Mumbai.”
Coming to Vijay Deverakonda’s acting front, the actor announced his next film, VD 12, a few weeks back. The actor shared intense posters on Instagram to reveal that the upcoming action drama will be released on March 28, 2025. The poster had Vijay sporting a beard look and he accompanied the same with a caption that read, “His Destiny awaits him. Mistakes. Bloodshed. Questions. Rebirth. 28 March, 2025. #VD12.”

In VD 12, Vijay Deverakonda will essay the role of a cop for the first time. As for his last appearance, the actor was seen in Kalki 2898 AD, wherein he left many intrigued with his cameo role.
