Varun Dhawan is gearing up for his next release Baby John. He has been sharing a lot of photos on his social media. And today, the actor shared another unseen photo on director Atlee’s birthday. Varun Dhawan also called him ‘Hardest worker’. Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff are also part of the film.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Varun Dhawan shared a photo in which he is seen hugging Atlee and wrote, “ With the man who always keeps his promises. The hardest worker in the room, but above all a leader who stands with his people happy bday sir @atlee47.” The action thriller marks his first collaboration with Atlee. The film produced by Atlee, Jyoti Deshpande, and Murad Khetani is slotted for a Christmas release.

Talking about the film with Pinkvilla, Varun Dhwan said, “All I can say is it’s a mass-action entertainer. There is a lot of entertainment in the film, which I love as well. And I’m just going to give it my all.”
Besides this, Varun also has Citadel India with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in his pipeline. Directed by Raj and DK, Citadel is the Indian adaptation of the International series of the same name which was created by the director duo, the Russo Brothers. According to strong reports, the actress is performing high-octane action sequences in the film along with Varun Dhawan.
Rumours of Varun Dhawan collaborating with his father David Dhawan for a rom-com have been going on for a long time. Fresh updates have been coming in and the recent one mentions that the film is titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. It is all set to release in October 2025. Well, an official announcement is still awaited.
Pinkvilla has reported that Ramesh Taurani’s production had been titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. “It’s a quirky title in sync with the world that David Dhawan is looking to create with Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Sreelela. It’s a fun family entertainer with the love triangle of the trio at the centre. David Dhawan has cracked a concept that’s fresh and original, and is confident to recreate the magic of comedies on the big screen again,” revealed a source.
