Nayanthara and Jr NTR fans still remember their chemistry in the 2010 action comedy blockbuster Adhurs. However, not many remember when Nayanthara shared her experience of working with Jr NTR during the film in a 2022 interview with Dhivyadharshini and Suma Kanakala. Nayanthra, who was gearing for her film Connect at the time, called Jr NTR a ‘brat’ while sharing a hilarious memory from the sets.

The actress was doing her touch-up when she noticed Jr NTR staring at her. Intrigued by the look he was giving her, she wanted to know if something was wrong. Jr NTR’s cheeky question was, “Why are you doing so much of a touch-up?” She answered, “So like I said no I am just doing it now because of take.” The actor replied, “No one is going to look at you, everyone is going to look at me.”

The film Adhurs, helmed by VV Vinayak, depicts the story of two brothers who were separated at birth and lived different lives until unexpected events brought them together once more. The film was appreciated for its captivating story and the performance of the popular on-screen couple Nayanthara and Jr NTR.

As a matter of fact, in the same interview, Nayanthara also had few words for Prabhas and called him a brat too. However, she did add that Prabhas is very sweet and childlike and remembered him as one who used to jump around while cracking jokes on the set. Further, the actress appreciated Prabhas for reaching the height of stardom that he has achieved. Notably, Prabhas and Nayanthara appeared in Yogi in 2007.

This action drama Yogi is also directed by VV Vinayak. In the film, a devoted son goes to the big city, eager to work and support his widowed mother, but after a brutal incident, he becomes a vigilante determined to bring justice. This movie is a reimagining of the popular Kannada film Jogi (2005).

Meanwhile, Nayanthara will next be seen in Kannappa, an Indian fantasy film directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu. It is based on the legend of Kannappa, a devotee of the Hindu god Shiva. The film will have Akshay Kumar and Prabhas in key roles.
