Telugu actor Nithiin and his wife Shalini recently welcomed their bundle of joy, a baby boy on September 6, Friday. He tweeted a photo of his, Shalini’s and the baby boy’s hands holding each other lovingly. Alongside the picture, he wrote in the caption," Welcoming the NEWEST STAR of our family!!". Nithiin and Shalini tied the knot in 2020 after being in a relationship for a while.

Nithiin’s followers and colleagues congratulated the couple on this beautiful phase in his life. Badminton player and Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal’s wife Jwala Gutta tweeted, “Congratulations."

Telugu media portal tweeted, “Congrats & best wishes, Nithiin Garu."

How did Nithiin and his wife Shalini’s love story start?

The Magic Love actor gave an insight into his love story with Shalini in an earlier interview with the Times of India. According to Nithiin, there was no love at first sight or the parents dramatically opposing their union. He added that there were no grand romantic gestures or wooing from either of them. However, he added that there is a lot of love and understanding between them. As per Nithiin, he and Shalini had known each other for 8 years. He revealed that they had met through common friends, became friends and love bloomed between them 5 years ago.

Shalini hails from Hyderabad and has secured a Master’s in Business Management degree from a UK university.

Nithiin’s work front

Currently, Nithiin is looking forward to his upcoming film Robinhood written and directed by Venky Kudumula. This film stars Sreeleela, Rajendra Prasad, Kyle Paul and others in important roles. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Robinhood will be released at the cinemas on December 20, 2024. Mythri Movie Makers revealed the title promo of this film on January 25 which eventually became a sensation on social media with more than 6 million views. In the glimpse, Nithiin’s character says that he treats all Indians as his brothers and sisters. So, he believes he has a right to steal from them.

National award-winner GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music for this film. Sai Sriram is the cinematographer while Prawin Pudi is the editor for Robinhood.
