Well, there is a fresh update about the film. Pinkvilla has reported that Surya will be seen in three different looks in the film.
A source close to the production exclusively revealed to Pinkvilla that the film is set to feature the actor in 3 different looks. Moreover, the source also mentioned that the actor has undergone a rigorous transformation for the different characters and each one of them would be essential to the story, adding their own layers. The film also stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, and many more in key roles.
Kanguva is set to hit the theatres on October 10, 2024. The lead of the film Suriya shared a poster of the film announcing the release date. He wrote on X, “Dear all, It’s 10th October 2024.” The actor shared about the announcement on his X handle (formerly Twitter) on June 27. In the poster the actor posted, Suriya can be seen standing at the top of a pole of corpses holding his sword in the air while flames erupt from the background.
The film Kanguva is directed by Siva. It is produced by KE Gnanavelraja and Vamsi Pramod under the banner of Studio Green and UV Creations.
Following this announcement, the news has created a massive stir in the entertainment industry as the release date of the film clashes with the release date of the film Vettaiyan starring superstar Rajinikanth. Earlier, the superstar announced the release date of the film during his trip to the Himalayas.
It seems that it will be a tough fight between the much-awaited films as both films are set to hit the theatres on October 10, 2024. Initially, the film Kanguva was slated to be released during the summer of this year, but due to delays in shooting and post-production, the release date was postponed.
