In the upcoming episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show, the ladies from Heermandi will be guests. Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover will entertain with jokes, while the Heeramandi cast – Richa Chadha, Manisha Koirala, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharmin Segal, and Aditi Rao Hydari – will share interesting revelations. Kiku Sharda and Krushna will also parody Devdas, bringing laughter to the show.
In a promo, Kapil Sharma asks the actresses about their nerves shooting with perfectionist Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Manisha Koirala admits feeling nervous before each shot, echoing the sentiment. Richa then asks about the most retakes they had to do for Heeramandi. Sonakshi recalls never exceeding 12 retakes, while Richa reveals she had to do 99 retakes for a scene on the show.
Kapil also asks Sonakshi about her marriage plans, mentioning Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani recently tied the knot. Sonakshi jokingly said, “Jale par namak chidak rahe ho,” adding that she badly wants to get married.
Sonakshi Sinha is reportedly dating Zaheer Iqbal. Zaheer Iqbal and Sonakshi Sinha reportedly met through Salman Khan. Their friendship blossomed into love, and the lovebirds are often spotted together. The duo was seen together in the film Double XL. It was directed by Satram Ramani and also featured Huma Qureshi in the pivotal role. Zaheer made his Bollywood debut in 2019 with the romantic drama film Notebook, produced by Salman Khan. In the movie, he was paired opposite Pranutan Bahal, the granddaughter of the late legendary actress Nutan.
Meanwhile, Sonakshi got rave reviews for her role in Heeramandi. News18 Showsha gave the series 4.5 stars rating. An excerpt from the review read, “Sonakshi Sinha plays the antagonist in Heeramandi. She is stunning, shrewd and sardonic. And she fears no one. She single-handedly fights a battle to win justice for her late mother and has no qualms about walking on the path of vices for the same. At the end, the women are all so much more than just tawaifs. Ambition is their eternal companion and they use their beauty as a weapon to lure men into their beds and when the right time comes, render them powerless.”
In an exclusive interview with News18, the actor revealed that veteran actress Rekha was all praises for her. “She told me such beautiful things that I was just awe-struck. I couldn’t believe my ears that Rekha ji was praising me. I’ll always remember that one conversation with her. She always tells my mum that she’s my ‘other mumma’. There’s a lot of love between us. We had a beautiful moment together,” she said.
