In a special segment with IMDb called “Speed Dating,” Sharvari opened up about her journey so far and shared details about her personal life. Among the revelations, she also mentioned the one movie she can rewatch anytime—any guesses?
In the special IMDb segment, Sharvari said, “I love Jodhaa Akbar. I used to be obsessed with that movie growing up as well. I think I can rewatch it anytime. I used to know the dialogues by heart, I used to love the costumes, the set, and, of course, everybody on the set of Jodhaa Akbar.” She further mentioned that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was her favourite character in the movie.
However, when asked about her go-to date night movie, the actress mentioned, “My quintessential date night movie would be DDLJ (Dilwale Dulhanya Le Jayenge) it’s an incredible movie and I think it’s one of the nicest love stories.”
While Sharvari has made a space for herself in the industry, she started her career as an assistant director. During the segment, she also shared that her first paycheck as an assistant director was one of her most prized possessions. She recalled how her parents framed that paycheck and wrote a “really sweet note under it”.
The IMDb “Breakout Star” STARmeter Award recognises stars who consistently rank high on the IMDb app’s Popular Indian Celebrities list. This list reflects the page views of IMDb’s over 250 million monthly visitors worldwide, highlighting those who capture significant attention and interest.
