Rohanpreet Singh On Divorce Rumours With Neha Kakkar: 'Jo Sach Hai Hi Nahi'

Singers Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh tied the knot in October 2020 and have consistently showcased their affection for each other on social media. In June, Neha posted a touching birthday tribute for Rohanpreet, accompanied by an adorable photo that showcased their strong bond. Despite their public displays of love, rumours of a possible divorce have frequently emerged.

However, in a recent interview with ETimes, Rohanpreet addressed the speculation, affirming that the couple remains unaffected by such gossip. “Any kind of rumour doesn’t bother us or affect our relationship. We are mentally touchwood so prepared that these rumours which are obviously untrue don’t affect us or our bond. Jo sach he nahi hai Woh kaise aap apne relationship par haavi hone de sakte ho. (If it isn’t true, how can you let it affect your relationship?) I don’t think anybody should mind such baseless rumours. Kuch toh log kahenge logon ka kaam hai kehna (People have always say something, it is their job to talk). If they are happy talking about us, they can happily do it,” he said.

Rohanpreet further explained that he and Neha consciously choose not to let these rumours affect them. He expressed that if people find joy in discussing their relationship, they should be free to do so.

“It’s all about how you deal with things. There’s happiness and sadness both in life, you have to choose wisely what you want. If you chose sadness, then obviously you will always be hurt. We should just go towards happiness and there will be no need to worry,” he added.

Reflecting on his career, Rohanpreet, who started as a contestant on a reality show, expressed deep gratitude for his journey so far. He shared, “I’ve managed to reach here and grow in life. I feel very happy and blessed about my journey. I just thank God for whatever he has given me in life. I always say that a person should always be thankful for whatever we have in life,” he concluded.

On the professional front, Rohanpreet recently appeared in a music video titled Kaala Maal, featuring Bigg Boss OTT 3 winner Sana Makbul. Released on September 10, the track showcases Rohanpreet’s skills not only as a performer but also as a composer. The vocals for the song are provided by Rohanpreet and Gulrez Akhtar, while the music video is directed by Mahi Sandhu and Jogi Sandhu of B2gether Pros.
