Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, who are also expecting their first child together, are couple goals. On Saturday, the actor took to social media to cheer for his mom-to-be wife as she became the first Indian star to feature on Deadline’s Global Disruptors 2024 list.
Ranveer Singh shared a screenshot of the Deadline article on his Instagram stories and wrote, “Baby Momma got ‘em shook, yeaahh.” He also added a crown emoji and tagged Deepika. Check it out here:
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in November 2018. The two announced their pregnancy in February this year and the baby is due in November.
Recently, a photo of a couple, purportedly to be Deepika and Ranveer, went viral on social media. In the picture, the mom-to-be was holding a polaroid of an ultrasound, a popular way to announce a pregnancy. It was said that the lady in the picture was Deepika, courtesy her dimples and the strategically obscured face in the photo. The dad-to-be was facing away from the camera, and his face wasn’t visible.
However, a fact check later confirmed that the couple in the photos wasn’t Deepika and Ranveer. It turned out the original photo was of Halime Kucuk, who announced her pregnancy on X on May 13.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone also grabbed everyone’s attention recently after the former deleted his wedding pictures from his Instagram handle. His act left DeepVeer fans worried with many wondering if all was not well between him and Deepika.
However, a source later told Hindustan Times that there is no trouble in the couple’s paradise and added that Ranveer not only archived his wedding photos but also decided to archive all posts before 2023. “Well, he has deleted all his pictures from the year before 2022-2023. It is not just about his wedding pictures. In fact, all his recent pictures with Deepika are still on his handles. So, it is really baffling as to how people can assume that there is any trouble in paradise,” the source said.
Later, Ranveer also ended the rumours by showing off his wedding ring at an event. In an interview with Vogue India during the launch of Tiffany & Co. in Mumbai, he was asked about his favourite piece of jewellery. Ranveer revealed that his wedding and engagement rings, given by Deepika Padukone, are his most treasured possessions.
