Rajinikanth Holds Anupam Kher's Arm, Latter Calls Him 'God's Gift To Mankind' at PM Modi's Swearing-in
Rajinikanth and Anupam Kher attended Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony as Prime Minister of India on Sunday.

Anupam Kher, a huge fan of Rajinikanth, met the star in Delhi during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony. Anupam shared a video where he praised Rajinikanth as a ‘God’s gift to mankind’. The video showed Anupam walking alongside Rajinikanth with security around them.

Looking into the camera, Anupam said, “The one and only, Mr. Rajini-the-kanth! The one and only! The God’s gift to mankind! Waah (wow)!” Rajinikanth held Kher’s arm and smiled, looking at the camera.

Reacting to the video, producer Anand Pandit took to the comments section and wrote, “He is the one personifies dignity, talent , humility , kindness & love.” Veteran actor Rakesh Bedi wrote, “No doubt about it. And how simple is he.”

Rajinikanth attended Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony as Prime Minister of India on Sunday. Before heading to Delhi, he spoke to reporters outside the airport, praising the event’s historical importance and congratulating Modi on his third term. He also appreciated the presence of a strong opposition as a healthy sign for democracy. Anupam Kher had earlier taken to social media to share the news that he received an invite to the swearing-in ceremony.

Anupam Kher recently slammed Kulwinder Kaur, a CISF woman constable, who slapped actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport last week. The veteran actor has showed solidarity with Kangana, condemning the CISF personnel’s act. Reacting to the incident, Anupam told Instant Bollywood, “It’s very unfortunate. It shouldn’t have happened especially from someone who is a security personnel. Jo bhi grievances hai usko alag tarike se pesh karne chahiye. I feel women of India should react to it, not just because Kangana is an MP, but she is also a woman.” The incident comes days after Kangana, who contested Lok Sabha polls on BJP ticket, won from Mandi constituency, Himachal Pradesh.
