But, a source close to the actress told HT that she is in India for a cosmetic brand deal. “There has been a lot of buzz around the reason behind Priyanka’s travel to India. But she is not coming to India for any film project, or to announce her next Bollywood project, which is being assumed by many. In fact, there is no filmy connection to her visit this time,” a source close to the actor said. Opening up on the real reason, the source added, “Priyanka is coming for a very special reason, and it is the launch of makeup brand Max Factor in India. There is a big event happening in Mumbai on October 18 which will mark the foray of the beauty brand in India. A lot of global media has also come down to India to cover the event”.
The global icon was spotted at the airport looking effortlessly chic in a grey cropped sweatshirt paired with matching track pants, oversized glares, and a grey cap. Her breezy curls were left open, and she flashed her signature million-dollar smile as she made her way through the city’s bustling airport. Ever the gracious star, Priyanka greeted the waiting paparazzi with a traditional namaste and a big smile and wave.
Flanked by her team from the US, Priyanka made her way to her luxury car, with fans and onlookers buzzing about her arrival. She also mentioned to the paps that she’s in Mumbai for 2 days.
