Post Malone, the singer-songwriter known for hits like Better Now, Circles and more, has once given his fans a very pleasant surprise. This time, he has released a very deeply personal and emotional song titled Yours, which is dedicated to his 2-year-old daughter. Recently, at an intimate concert in Nashville, US, Post Malone gave a live performance of Yours, a song he reportedly wrote while thinking about his daughter’s future wedding. Although she’s only a toddler right now, in the song, the singer imagines the day his daughter would walk down the aisle, with Malone playing the role of the proud father.
The concert was only a one-night event and also featured some of Malone’s new country hits, along with some of his classic chart-toppers. However, it was the performance of Yours that left fans particularly emotional. The lyrics of the song capture the bittersweet feelings of a father watching his little girl grow up. It also expresses that no matter how old she gets, she will always be his daughter.

The popular singer had first teased a glimpse of Yours song on Father’s Day and the full track was later featured in People magazine. Malone also told People that he believes that the song could become a favourite for wedding playlists as it has been resonating with many fans. Despite being a public figure himself, Post Malone has kept his daughter’s identity private and not revealed her name.
On his workfront, there is a lot of excitement building for the release of his upcoming album, titled F-1 Trillion. It will include some new tracks as well as his well-loved hits. The Nashville concert wasn’t just a solo affair. It also had guest appearances from artists like Blake Shelton, Joe Nichols, HARDY and Sierra Ferrell, who joined Malone on stage to perform a mix of new and classic songs, informs People.
Having transitioned to country music in the past few years, Post Malone’s recent releases have been well-received. His next album F-1 Trillion is all set to drop on August 16 on all major streaming platforms.
