Pakistani actress Hania Aamir and Badhshah’s friendship caught everyone’s attention after they were seen partying together and interacting on social media frequently. Netizens began speculating that the two might even be dating. However, Hania Aamir said in a recent chat that they are good friends. The two have always maintained that they share a close friendship.
In an interview with BBC Asian Network, Hania was asked about her current favourite song. She mentioned God Damn by Badshah, Hiten, and Karan Aujla. It was then said that she might be mentioning Badshah’s song because of their friendship. Haroon Rashid said, “…Badshah is your mate, and some people think you’re in a relationship. you’re just adding fuel to the fire.” This left Hania in splits. She said, “No, it’s a great song. I sometimes think my only problem is that I’m not married. If I was I would be away from so many of these rumours.”
Speaking about her friendship with Badshah, Hania said, “That’s a personal question. It was just Instagram. On one of my crazy Reels, he commented something and my friend went like, ‘I think Badshah commented on your post’. I said, ‘Really?’ and then I looked at it. He had DM’ed me so we just spoke a little bit. Badshah is a great friend.”
She added, “He is such a nice, simple human being apart from his Badshah persona. He is a really nice person and he is just so real. I think that’s one thing that’s common and that’s why we’re friends. To be honest, if I’m feeling low, if I’m not posting that much, he would inquire, ‘What’s wrong, what happened?’ So that also happens.”
Hania is a popular Pakistani star who became a household name after Titli. She has done projects like Phir Wohi Mohabbat, Na Maloon Afraad 2 and Parwaaz Hai Junoon. She maintains an active social media presence and often gives fans an insight into her life. She sparked dating rumours with Badshah after the duo were spotted stepping out for dinner multiple times in a week in Dubai.
Last year, Badshah was involved in dating rumours with Mrunal Thakur. A video went viral showing them holding hands while they headed to the party. A couple of days after the bash, Badshah took to his Instagram Stories and shared a statement, clarifying that he is not dating Mrunal. While the rapper did not mention her name, he said that the internet has got it all wrong. “Dear internet, sorry to disappoint you yet again but jaisa aap soch rahe hai waisa nahi hai (laughing emoji),” he wrote.
