Sai Dharam Tej and Allu Arjun fans were left shocked recently when the rumours of their rift made headlines. It all started after Sai unfollowed the Pushpa star on Instagram. Now, their cousin Niharika Konidela has reacted to the reports of the alleged rift, saying if Sai has unfollowed Allu Arjun, he must have had his reasons.
Recently, Niharika Konidela was promoting her upcoming production Committee Kurrollu in Hyderabad when a reporter told her that Sai had unfollowed Allu on Instagram and asked if everything was not okay between the two. Niharika shared that she had no idea about it and said, “Genuinely, I didn’t know about this till you just told me. I’m sorry, I’m not aware of it.” “But, whatever it is, I’m sure they have their own reasons,” she added.
Why Did Sai Dharam Tej Unfollow Allu Arjun?
Earlier this week, a family source told Hindustan Times that Sai hasn’t followed Allu for a while. “People just noticed that Sai hasn’t been following Arjun and Sneha since he unfollowed them after the elections,” the source explained. However, both the actors’ teams have not reacted to the rift rumours as of now.
Allu Arjun has also been absent ever since Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party (JSP) won the Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh. The actor did not attend the swearing-in ceremony or the family celebration in Hyderabad. Sai Durgha Tej, Varun Tej, and other cousins were present. However, before the elections, Allu had tweeted in support of his uncle Pawan but later went to Nandhyal to support YSRCP constituency candidate S Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy.
Meanwhile, it is worth noting that Allu Arjun has also never followed anyone on X (formerly known as Twitter) and only follows his wife, Sneha Reddy, on Instagram.
How Is Allu Arjun Related To Sai Dharam Tej?
Allu Arjun is a son of Allu Aravind and a grandson of Allu Ramalingaiah, who was one of the most famous actors and producers in the Telugu film industry. On the other hand, Sai Dharam Tej is the son of Cheranjeevi’s sister, Vijaya Durga. Chiranjeevi (Sai Dharam Tej’s uncle) is the son-in-law of Allu Arjun’s grandfather, Allu Ramalingaiah. Therefore, Allu Arjun and Sai Dharam Tej are cousins.
