Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2, the sequel to the 2010 hit crime thriller LSD: Love, Sex Aur Dhokha, will be released in the cinemas on April 19. Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee, the director, will be directing the sequel and starring transgender actress Bonita Rajpurohit. She will play the role of Kullu in this film.
Balaji Motion Pictures, the sequel’s production house, unveiled a video on Instagram where Bonita gave an insight into her life. The actress described that she hails from a village in Rajasthan and felt enthralled to see the lives of women like her represented on the screen.
The It’s All In Your Head actress shared that she was initially employed in a production house where used to work at a salary of Rs 10,000-15,000. Bonita remembered that it was tough for her to make a living with that meagre income and she didn’t think of acting in a film. According to the actress, it was difficult to act in LSD 2 because it reminded her of her personal traumatic experiences in childhood. This video further shows the actress interacting with her crew members and has garnered more than 2,71,000 views.

Social media users congratulated Bonita for her much-anticipated film. Still, some were surprised that initially, actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia had won the chance to feature in LSD 2 while she was on Bigg Boss. Reports stated that she backed out from the project as she was uncomfortable doing intimate scenes. As per the reports, the Choti Sardarni fame actress even informed the crew about her apprehensions.
The makers were, however, unable to do much for the actress as the film’s script is such that the intimate scenes are an integral part of it. After much discussion, Nimrit then reportedly decided to let go of the project. It was then stated that Uorfi Javed was roped in to step into the shoes of Nimrit, and finally, she was to make her debut with LSD 2. The film also features Mouni Roy, Tusshar Kapoor, Anu Malik, Swaroopa Ghosh, Swastika Mukherjee and Anupam Joardar.
