Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her first baby with actor-husband Ranveer Singh, is currently trying her hands at long and short stitch embroidery. The actress gave a sneak peak into the same to her fans on Tuesday evening. Deepika took to her Instagram handle to share a photo of her attempt at creating a bunch of red rose.
She captioned her post saying, “Hopefully I’ll be able to share the completed version!” Fans were quick to shower the actress with love and appreciation for her adorable post. One user said, “She is enjoying the best phase in her life. I’m so happy for you my talented Mumma! Keep doing these extra curricular activities during your pregnancy phase. This is good for you as well as the baby.” Another one said, “My fashion designer, Mumma!” Meanwhile, Shweta Bachchan dropped a heart eyes emoji.
A few weeks ago, Deepika shared a photo of herself clicked by her doting husband. In the pic, she flaunted her beach tan on her back as she smiled, looking away from the camera. Deepika captioned the post, “(sunshine emojis) @ranveersingh.” Deepika wore a grey tank top and had a white tote bag on her shoulder. Deepika announced her pregnancy in February this year when she shared an adorable poster with “September 2024” written on it. The poster also had children’s clothes, toys and balloons as the border. Deepika and Ranveer have been married for over five years now.
The pregnancy announcement came weeks after Deepika said that she wanted to have kids with Ranveer. The actress was speaking to Vogue Singapore when she said, “Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family.”
