Rupali Bhosale, a Marathi actress known for her performance in the TV show Aai Kuthe Kay Karte, recently fulfilled one of her dreams of buying her own house. The actress recently purchased a new property in Mumbai’s Thane area. On the occasion of Vaastu Shanti, Rupali organised a bhajan at her new residence. Reportedly, her fellow Marathi actors Sushant Shelar and Gauri Kulkarni were also present at the puja. Now, several pictures and videos of the actress’ new house have gone viral on social media.
On Friday, Rupali took to Instagram and shared a montage video of her new home. The post was accompanied by a long heartfelt note in which the actress shared her emotional journey from living on the streets of Mumbai to buying a luxurious property in the state.
She wrote in Marathi, “Everyone has a dream to have their own right house somewhere on the back of this world. It is said that dreaming doesn’t cost money but there comes a time when destiny hits your wallet and you don’t even dare to dream.”
“My house was made in the same steps which I used to draw while drawing a triangular and a rectangular house as a child. Only those different steps depict different houses in my life. Even the empty step on a blank piece of paper was once a home for me because we were literally on the streets. That page of life was new and blank but the threat of drawing with a pencil was still there. While drawing, we just drew rectangular walls, which were also my house at one point because we were all living in a barn then,” she continued.
“There were only walls and no roof. But we had a courtyard covered with dung. Then later on in the picture, a triangular, circular roof was drawn and we got a house made of sheets. Life is built in such a place that the holes in the sheets are not so important. Just so that no one sees us through it, we have to get up and take a bath at 3:30 in the morning. Later, when the situation improved a little, seventeen hundred and sixty houses were changed. In all those journeys, I often wanted to crumple and tear the paper with this picture and throw it away,” Rupali added.
“The dream of having one’s own house seems wrong…but the dreamer does not get tired because there are many people who look up to him. So he has no other option but to put his head down and work tirelessly. A few days ago, when I raised my neck, which I had put down after working for many years, I realized oh my picture is complete,” she wrote.
“With the blessings of God, parents, and good wishes of numerous friends and fans, I am entering a new home with Mom, Dad and Sanket. This is possible only because of the love you have shown so far. Thank you very much!!! And now it’s time to add colour to the finished picture,” Rupali concluded.
Apart from Marathi serials, Rupali has also appeared in several Hindi shows like Badi Doooor Se Aaye Hai, Kasme Vaade and Tenali Rama. Apart from this, she won fans’ hearts with her stint in the TV reality show, Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2 in 2019.
