The makers of Ramesh Cheppala-directed Telugu film Laggam which will be released soon have opted for a unique promotional campaign. As part of their marketing campaign, they have launched an event titled the ‘Laggam Saree Festival’ under the catchy tagline, “Make a Reel, Win a Saree.” This initiative is aimed at engaging fans and boosting the movie’s visibility on social media, particularly Instagram.
To participate, interested individuals, especially the youth, are invited to create a reel or YouTube short using songs or dialogues from the Laggam movie teaser. They are encouraged to add their unique style and creativity to the reel and then send their video to the designated phone number, 8885050729. In return, participants stand a chance to win a saree as a gift.
To qualify for the contest, participants must also post the reel on their Instagram profile and ensure that they tag the official Laggam movie page. The Laggam movie team has prepared several exciting gifts for participants, further incentivizing fans to take part in this promotional event.
Laggam is set against the rich cultural backdrop of Telangana, however, the actors in the film have opted for a more colloquial, everyday language rather than adhering strictly to the Telangana dialect. This decision was made to make the film more relatable and accessible to a wider audience. The film’s director has expressed strong confidence in the movie’s success, predicting that this will be the ‘Year of Laggam,’ indicating his belief that the movie will make a significant impact at the box office.
All post-production work has now been completed, and the movie is scheduled for a grand worldwide release on October 25, with Asian Suresh overseeing the distribution. Fans can expect a large-scale release with the film hitting screens across the globe.
The cast of the film includes Sai Ronak, Pragya Nagra, Rajendra Prasad, Rohini, Saptagiri, LB Sriram, Krishnudu, Raghu Babu, Racha Ravi, Kanakavva, Vadlamani Srinivas, Kaveri, Chammak Chandra, Chitram Seenu, Sandhya Ghandham, T Suguna, Lakshman Meesala, Prabhavati, Kancherapalem Raju, Prabhas Srinu, Satya Eleswaram, Anjibabu, Radandi Sadanandam, Kiriti, Ravi Varma and Viva Reddy, all playing prominent roles.
