‘Love Laughter War’: Suriya Announces His Next With Director Karthik Subbaraj

Suriya is one of the biggest and most popular actors in the South film industry. He predominantly works in Tamil films, but has also been a part of films across different languages. The actor has a massive fan following among the audience, and people love him for his style and impeccable acting skills. Suriya is all set to star in his upcoming warrior action film, Kanguva. The film’s teaser has received a great response from the audience, and they are eagerly awaiting its release. Now, there has been a major update about his yet another upcoming film. As per reports, the star will be collaborating with director Karthik Subbaraj on a new project.

Suriya has announced his upcoming project with Jigarthanda fame Karthik Subbaraj, which is tentatively titled #Suriya44. The actor took the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) and made the official announcement by sharing the first poster as well. He wrote, “New beginnings..! Need all your good wishes! #LoveLaughterWar @karthiksubburaj.” The poster features an arrow passing through a log of wood that is burning against the fire. The poster also mentioned the tentative title of the film. It will be produced under the banners of 2D Entertainments and Stone Bench Films.

Suriya also has another untitled film after Kanguva, in his pipeline. It will be directed by Sudha Kongara and is tentatively titled #Suriya43. The project, which is touted to be a period action drama, is all set to go on floors soon. The music director of the film, GV Prakash, recently revealed that the film is expected to release in November or December this year. Apart from Suriya, Nazriya Nazim Fahadh will star as the female lead. Dulquer Salmaan will also be seen in pivotal roles in the project, and Bollywood actor Vijay Varma will be making his Tamil debut as the antagonist in the film.

There has been a lot of hype surrounding Kanguva. The project is directed by Siva and also features Disha Patani and Bobby Deol in important roles. It is expected that the makers will announce the release date soon.
