Leonardo DiCaprio gets his name etched on Oscar trophy and his childlike eagerness is worth watching
views
Ending his Oscar drought, Leonardo DiCaprio finally earned his much deserved Oscar for Best Actor yesterday. After sweeping the best actor awards at all major award functions, DiCaprio held his own 'goldman', after four failed attempts in his illustrious career of around 25 years.
Like always after the acceptance speech and the press conference the winners go to the Governors Ball to get their award engraved. Now, in a video shared by Variety, Leonardo is seen too eager to see his name on that trophy. The 'Blood Diamond' actor looks amused by the concept of etching that he even asks the etcher, “Do you do this every year?", completing it with, "I wouldn’t know.” (Well, now you do Leo!)
After the process, the ether asks 'The Revenant' star to read the manual on how to keep the Oscar, to which the surprised actor says, "Do I have to maintain it?" (Ofcouse, you have to Leo, you have earned it after four snubs!)
This, childlike eagerness and accomplishment seen on our favourite actor's face is reassuring and relieving! He finally has it and we can sit back till his next nominations. Take a look at this cute video here:
