Amal Neerad’s directorial Bougainvillea has increased the hype about the film among the audience. Now, the makers have dropped a new poster and announced the release date, which has sent the fans into a frenzy. After getting more than a million views on its promotional song Sthuthi, the new poster has created a stir and excitement. Bougainvillea is all set for its worldwide release on October 17. Taking to social media, the makers dropped a brand-new poster featuring Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, and Jyothirmayi in black outfits against a red and white backdrop. The in-text reads, “In Cinemas, October 17.”
The comment section was filled with fire and heart emojis as fans showered love for the upcoming film. A comment read, “Dayumm”, while another wrote, “Let’s go! Can’t wait for the release.” A user wrote, “An Amal Neerad film! Eagerly waiting for October 17.”
Bougainvillea also stars ace actors like Sharafudheen, Veena Nandakumar and Srinda in prominent roles. Touted to be an action-crime thriller, the film will also mark the return of Amal Neerad’s wife, Jyothirmayi on the big screen after a long hiatus. The film is written by novelist Lajo Jose and Amal Neerad and the dialogues are penned by RJ Murugan. It is bankrolled by Jyothirmayi and Kunchacko Boban under the banners of Amal Neerad Productions and Udaya Pictures respectively. The thriller will be the first collaboration between the lead actor and the director.
In June, the first look poster of the film was released in which Kunchacko Boban was seen with a rugged look, dressed in black and holding a gun. The backdrop was the hue of deep red which might be a hint regarding the intense nature of the film. The poster has hinted that the actor will be seen in a completely new avatar.
Kunchacko Boban was last seen in Grrr, which hit the theatres in June. It is a survival comedy helmed by Jay K. He had a cameo in Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha, a rom-com directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval.
