Katy Perry Makes Statement In Red Dress With A 'Never-Ending' Train Featuring Her Song Lyrics

Fun with fashion? That is Katy Perry’s style. Right from the beginning of her career as an aspiring pop artist to the present day, the singer has managed to serve up some major groundbreaking looks. Doing it once again, Katy Perry made a jaw-dropping entry at The Ritz Paris on Tuesday in a statement ensemble. She chose a stunning Balenciaga red dress for Paris Fashion Week which came with an incredibly long train. However, that is not it. The train had lyrics to her much-awaited comeback song, Woman’s World.

“She’s a winner, champion/ Superhuman, number one/ She’s a sister, she’s mother. Open your eyes, just look around and you’ll discover/ You know/ It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it,” the lyrics on the train read.

The Teenage Dream singer was captured arriving at the venue and stepping out of a stretch limousine in style. At first glance, it seems like she was wearing a one-shoulder red mini dress. However, as she made her way up the hotel’s steps, the look unfolded, revealing the long train attached to the back of the bodycon Balenciaga design. According to several reports and Katy Perry fan pages, the train measures 500 feet in length.

Her staff can be seen constantly trying to bundle up the train after they rolled out the material upon her entrance.

Notably, Perry is all set to mark her return to the music scene with her upcoming single, Woman’s World, from her sixth studio album. This will be her first release since her last studio album, Smile, which came out in 2020.

Katy Perry Sets Fire On The Runway

Perry’s unconventional fashion statement, which celebrates her unreleased single, comes on the heels of her latest appearance at the Vogue World Paris 2024 event. Her show-stopping look left little to the imagination as she stormed the runway with a daringly revealing dress from Noir Kei Ninomiya’s fall 2019 collection.

She chose a skin-baring dress that came with geometric cutouts and tulle floral embellishments on the skirt, giving a sense of meaning to the ‘naked’ dress. The singer walked confidently as she made her way around the plaza and then onto the runway.

Meanwhile, the first single from Perry’s sixth album will be out on July 11.
