On Monday, Kajol shared a post on her Instagram account featuring two pictures. In the first, the two daughters of the veteran actress posed with their mother, with all three looking gorgeous in traditional outfits. The next picture was that of Tanuja’s birthday cake, which featured a black-and-white photo of the veteran actress from her early days with the message “gorgeous as ever”. Sharing the post, Kajol wrote in the caption, “If birthdays were flowers, we would have flooded the table.. happy happy 81st aka 18 to our evergreen, crazy, beautiful goddess! The industry friends of Kajol and Tanishaa took to the comment section of the post to express their heartfelt wishes on their mother’s 81st birthday. Shamita Shetty wrote, “Happy birthday, Tanuja Aunty.” Archana Puran Singh said, “Happyyyy birthday, Tanujaji. Much love, hugs and kisses.” Karan Johar penned, “Happy birthday, Tanu aunty.”
Meanwhile, to commemorate Daughters Day 2024, Kajol shared a post featuring her pictures with her mother, sister and daughter. In the first picture, the DDLJ actress was posing with her mother, Tanuja and sister, Tanishaa, wearing beautiful sarees in the hues of pink and red. The next slide of the post featured a picture of Kajol’s daughter, Nysa, wearing a beautiful lehenga set with her maternal grandmother, who looked gorgeous as ever in a saree.
Sharing the pictures, Kajol mentioned in her post that daughters do not need one day to celebrate being a daughter.
