Kaante Director Sanjay Gupta Condemns Firing Outside Salman Khan's House: 'You F**n A*******s'
Sanjay Gupta called out the attackers that shot at Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments on Sunday.

Gunshots rang out at Galaxy Apartments, the Mumbai residence of Bollywood actor Salman Khan on Sunday morning. Thankfully, Salman and his family are safe, with heightened security measures in place around the iconic building located by the Arabian Sea in Bandra, where the actor has made his home for years. The police promptly responded to the incident, launching an investigation that has led to the identification of the original bike owner involved.

Various celebrities visited Salman Khan’s home to show support following the alarming events. Director Sanjay Gupta also joined in, voicing his frustration on social media over the cowardly act. In a tweet, he condemned the early morning shooting, emphasizing the need for improved surveillance in the area. He wrote, “Firing at a building at 5am displays cowardice you f**n a*******s.”

Pooja Bhatt, another prominent figure in Bollywood, echoed the sentiments of concern and shock surrounding the incident, highlighting the need for enhanced security measures in the region. She had written on her X handle, “Horrific and condemnable. If this can happen with a police van parked outside the Khan residence for protection then it is fair to say that safety is an illusion. Need more stringent surveillance in Bandra for certain. Robberies were rife a while ago and now a shoot out? Scary.”

Meanwhile, news outlets reported that the Mumbai Police seized the bike used in the shooting, linking one of the suspects to previous criminal activities in Haryana. Amid the unfolding investigation, details are emerging about the possible connections of the suspects to known criminal elements, underscoring the seriousness of the situation and the importance of swift justice in ensuring the safety of all residents in the vicinity.

Salman Khan has also decided to continue his work and fulfill his commitments, despite the gun firing incident outside his house on Sunday, April 14. According to the latest reports, the actor doesn’t want to pay a lot of heed to those responsible for the attack and will continue working.

A source told India Today, “Salman is very much focused on going about his work as planned earlier. He doesn’t want to give attention to those behind this firing incident because he feels that is exactly what they want. Instead, he has asked friends and actors from the industry not to worry. Further, he also asked them not to make any visits to Galaxy Apartments as it is getting inconvenient for other members of the society as well.”
