It’s Sacred Games Reunion: Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kubbra Sait Share Warm Hug At Mumbai Event
Sacred Games’ Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kubbra Sait met at a recent event and were seen embracing one another.

On Friday, the Bollywood Hungama OTT Awards 2024 took place at the Taj Lands End and was attended by the who’s who of Indian showbiz. Among them were the Sacred Games’ co-stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kubbra Sait, who played Ganesh Gaitonde and Kuckoo, respectively, in the thriller series. A video of their reunion has been widely circulated on social media. In the video, Nawazuddin, dressed in a black suit, is seen meeting with his co-star Kubbra, who looks pretty in a little black dress.

The duo first shook hands and then proceeded to embrace one another while having a brief chat. Further, in the video, the Trial actress was seen interacting with the Mirzapur actors Abhishek Banerjee and Isha Talwar before she left the place.

In other news, Nawazuddin Siddiqui bagged the Mould-Breaking Actor of The Year for his dual role in the crime drama Haddi at the Bollywood Hungama OTT Awards 2024. On the other hand, Abhishek Banerjee was honoured with Power-Packed Performer of the Year for his outstanding performance in Apurva and Stree 2, and Isha Talwar took home Screen-Stealer of the Year award.

The Sacred Games co-stars Nawazuddin and Kubbra undoubtedly share a great camaraderie. Earlier, when Kubbra sat for an interview with Bollywood Hungama, she recalled filming an intimate scene with the Gangs of Wasseypur actor. She said, “I love him. He is just a beautiful human being, and what an incredible co-actor to work with. Also, so shy, and we had all those crazy scenes together. He is the shyest human being on earth. Toh unse pakad pakad ke scene karwana padta tha. I used to go kiss him on the cheeks and say, ‘Chal na s-x scene karte hai (let’s do the s-x scene).’ This is my job. I need to create that environment.”

She also mentioned that they had to do seven takes to perfect the scene. Kubbra said that the scene was shot on the first day and was the last scene of day one. However, by the end of the seventh take, she lost count of the many hours they had been filming, and she couldn’t get up because she was exhausted. “I was exhausted. I was crying uncontrollably. Nawaz and AK picked me up and held me tight as I sobbed. Dimly, I heard a cut,” the actress added.

Speaking of Nawazuddin’s work, the actor was most recently seen in Adbhut and Rautu Ka Raaz. At present, he has Section 108 and Oil Kumar in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Kubbra is currently filming the second season of The Trial. She has Son of Sardaar 2 and Deva in the pipeline.
