Director Hanu Raghavapudi is a well-known face in the world of Telugu film industry. His last film Sita Ramam starring popular actors like Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna and Prakash Raj in leading roles was highly praised by the audience. He is also known for introducing new faces on the silver screen. According to reports, Hanu Raghavapudi is set to direct another film that will star Prabhas.
The film is titled Fauji. In a recent development, Hanu will feature another actress who will make her debut in the Indian film industry. The person we are talking about in this article is Iman Esmail aka Imanvi. She is a dancer and a content creator with more than 8 lakh followers on Instagram.
Iman Esmail has a huge Indian fanbase. In 2020, her choreography for the song Ramta Jogi from Taal surfaced on the internet creating a massive buzz on social media. In 2023, her other dance performance in the song Tum Tum from Enemy also went viral which helped her to receive several acting opportunities.
Iman Esmail is from Los Angeles but presently resides in Delhi. As per reports, she moved to California when she was young. Her family reportedly hails from Karachi, Pakistan. Born on October 20, 1995, she started her acting career with a short film named Unannounced. She also worked in the short film named Being Sa-rah, which speaks about Pakistani immigrants. The film Fauji will surely be a big stage for her as she will acting alongside Prabhas.
Talking about her dancing career Iman mentioned that she never got any formal training on Dancing. She said, “I never took formal training. But my mom used to show me the performances of Rekha ji, Madhuri (Dixit) ji, Vyjayanthimala ji, and all the evergreen and beautiful actresses. I used to watch their expressions and movements carefully. I learnt dancing just by watching them,” a report by Hindustan Time stated.
Prabhas is set to play the role of a soldier in the film. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, it will also star Mithun Chakraborty and Jaya Prada in prominent roles.
