HyunA Reacts To Pregnancy Rumours Ahead Of Wedding With Yong Jun-Hyung
The rumours started doing the rounds after HyunA's agency confirmed her marriage to Yong Jun-hyung in October.

Amid preparations for her upcoming wedding to fellow K-pop singer Yong Jun-Hyung, HyunA has been the subject of unexpected pregnancy rumours. These speculations emerged after the announcement of their nuptials, leading fans to speculate that the wedding might be hastened by an early pregnancy. However, to dispel the rumours, HyunA’s agency, At Area, addressed the issue with Star News on July 29, firmly denying the claims.

“The rumours of HyunA’s pregnancy are completely unfounded. We hope that such baseless speculation does not continue to spread,” it said, as quoted by AllKpop.

Earlier this month, both of their agencies issued formal statements to confirm their wedding date. “HyunA and Yong Jun-Hyung, who have been a great source of comfort to each other during difficult times, have promised marriage. They will hold a wedding with close acquaintances in October and begin a new life. We thank everyone who always shows warm support and asks for many blessings for the future of HyunA, who has made a significant decision both as an artist and as an individual,” the Trouble Maker singer’s agency said, while Yong Jun-Hyung’s agency responded in affirmation.

According to reports, their wedding will take place in Seoul on October 11. The announcement came just a few months after the couple confirmed their relationship on Instagram with a romantic picture.

While the sudden announcement made their fans curious, HyunA’s recent appearance at an event ignited pregnancy rumours. Fans took to social media platforms, claiming that the singer looked weak and energyless, and even minimised her otherwise lively attitude.

On The Work Front

Ahead of their wedding, HyunA has cancelled most of her upcoming US solo tour, leading to backlash from fans. The North American concert tour was set to take place across Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Toronto in August 2024. While all the ticket sales sites and concert halls were concerts, updates regarding the event were also deleted from her social media.

Fans think that poor ticket sales following her engagement announcement have prompted the cancellation.
