Ever since Hina Khan shared that she has been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer, she has been sharing her battle with the disease on social media. The actor is currently undergoing chemotherapy. In a recent post, she shared an image of her ‘last standing eyelash’ and penned a note where she talked about strength.
Taking to her Instagram, Hina Khan shared a closeup picture of her brown eyes. The image showed how the actor had lost almost all of her original eyelashes. Only a single natural eyelash adorned her eyelids and she penned a note talking about her chemotherapy journey. She mentioned how she was blessed with naturally long eyelashes and never had to wear fake ones. She said that the single eyelash was her ‘motivation.’
Khan wrote, “Wanna know what’s my current source of motivation? Once part of a mighty and beautiful Brigade that adorned my eyes. My Genetically long and beautiful lashes.. This BRAVE , LONE WARRIOR my last standing Eyelash has fought it all beside me. Nearing the last cycle of my Chemo, this single Eyelash is my MOTIVATION. We shall see this all through.”

The actor stated that she has not given up hope. She continued, “Yes we will InshaAllah. P.S – Haven’t worn falsies in a decade, actually more, but now I do, for my shoots. Koi naaaaa.. sab theek ho jaana hai… DUA.” The post has gone viral on social media and fans took to the comments to pour in their love for the actor. Apart from fans, celebrities also commented on the post. Juhi Parmar said, “Beautiful girl with a brave beautiful heart.” Ektaa Kapoor, Mouni Roy, and Dalljiet Kaur also reacted to the post.
Khan revealed her diagnosis in July this year. She wrote, “Hello everyone, To address the recent rumours, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three breast cancer.” The actor became a household name after her debut in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
