Jason Shah is currently enjoying the success of his recently released show, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. In the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, Shah played the role of a British cop named Cartwright. While his power-packed performance has been getting praise from the audience, it has now been reported that the actor has been approached for Bigg Boss OTT 3.
Yes, you heard it right, Jason Shah has been offered once again to be part of Salman Khan’s show. Reportedly, the actor is also considering the offer but has not accepted it as of now.
Interestingly, if Jason accepts this offer, this will be the second time that he will be seen in Bigg Boss. He was also seen in the 10th season of the reality show as a wild card contestant. Jason Shah made a memorable mark during his time on Bigg Boss 10 but had to leave the show due to health issues.
The first season of Bigg Boss OTT was hosted by Karan Johar when Divya Agarwal emerged as the winner. Salman Khan replaced KJo as the host of Bigg Boss OTT 2. The show was won by Munawar Faruqui. While no name for Bigg Boss OTT 3 has been confirmed as of now, it was previously reported that Ankita Lokhande’s husband Vicky Jain might participate in the show without his actress-wife.
Meanwhile, Jason Shah’s Heeramandi also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal Mehta, Farida Jalal, Fardeen Khan, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman in key roles. It explores the various aspects of a woman’s trials and tribulations.
Recently, Jason also opened up about shooting the rape scene with Mallikajaan aka Manisha Koirala. The actor admitted that he was “hesitant” before the sexual assault scene and mentioned that he was being cautious especially when he was supposed to slap Mallikajaan.
“I was hesitant. The fighter master wanted me to slap her in a more realistic manner but I was very careful, I was watching my actions. I even flicked her nose ring off in one scene, it got that close. That’s what I was telling the fight master that if we are not in coordination, I might end up hurting her, and obviously, she is an older woman, so it is my responsibility and I had to take care,” he told Filmibeat OTT.
