More About Fly Me To The Moon trailer

Delving deeper into the trailer, it shows NASA hiring a marketing expert, Kelly Jones to popularise the moon landing mission. However, this does not sit well with the launch director Cole Davis as they end up having an immediate clash.

Going further into the trailer, Jelly Jones tries to use the lead astronauts as commercial pitchmen, leaving Davis irked, she further insists on casting telegenic replacements to handle their media appearances. Apart from that, she even hired a director to fake the Moon landing in case the real one didn’t work out, thus hinting towards a long-standing conspiracy theory.

However, the audience will get to see the eventual results only when the film hits theatres in July.

Watch:

While the trailer seems quite engaging and promising, its major concept seems to be revolving around one of the most talked-about conspiracies of all time, the supposed fake Apollo 11 Moon landing. Fly Me To The Moon was previously titled Project Artemis with director Jason Bateman and Chris Evans in the lead role. While Bateman departed the project due to creative differences, Chris Evans dropped out due to scheduling issues.

The film marks Scarlett Johansson’s return to the big screen after a brief hiatus from work. She was last seen in Wes Anderson’s film Asteroid City. Meanwhile, the actress also has a couple of other interesting projects in the pipeline. She is expected to feature in the next instalment of Universal’s Jurassic Park franchise. She has also lent her voice to Paramount’s forthcoming animated title Transformers One.
