Moral of the story: We all need Lego Oscars!
In spite of getting royally snubbed during the Oscar 2015 nominations, everything continues to be awesome in Lego universe. In fact, they had a surprise planned for the Oscars.After not getting nominated for the Oscars, Director Phillip Lord tweeted a photo of his own Oscare made from, well, Lego.

And during the Oscars, they distributed Lego Oscars to everyone.
