Emraan Hashmi, who recently joined the cast of Goodachari 2, has sustained a neck injury while filming an intense action scene in Hyderabad. The actor was reportedly injured during a jump sequence, leaving a deep cut on his neck. A viral photo circulating on social media shows the actor’s injury, with visible blood, which has raised concern among fans. Hashmi has been in Hyderabad shooting for the film, and despite the incident, no reports suggest any major delays in production.

According to a report in Times of India, the injury occurred while Hashmi was filming a demanding stunt. A source from the production set revealed, “Emraan was shooting for an action scene when he hurt himself around the neck. The injury likely happened during a jumping scene.” Fortunately, it seems the injury is being managed, and Hashmi is expected to resume filming soon.

Back in August, actor Adivi Sesh had announced Emraan Hashmi’s involvement in Goodachari 2, which immediately got fans excited about the collaboration. The film marks Hashmi’s second Telugu project with Sesh, after creating anticipation among the audience for what is expected to be a high-octane spy thriller.

Goodachari 2 isn’t Hashmi’s only upcoming project in Telugu cinema. He is also set to appear in OG, a movie starring Pawan Kalyan, which is slated for a 2025 release. Hashmi’s growing presence in regional films has been noted, with many praising his versatility across different industries.

In addition to his Telugu ventures, Hashmi recently shared his thoughts on the film Animal during an interview with Instant Bollywood. He expressed his admiration for the film, despite its mixed reception. “I really enjoyed Animal and would have loved to be a part of it,” said Hashmi, acknowledging the bold choices director Sandeep Reddy Vanga made. He also praised Ranbir Kapoor’s performance, describing it as commendable for its complexity and depth.
