Rannvijay Singha is all set to return to the Roadies franchise after a three-year break, and he’s bringing some exciting changes with him. The VJ-actor recently introduced the new gang leader for Roadies XX, none other than YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner, Elvish Yadav. Taking to Instagram, Rannvijay shared a series of photos with Elvish, where they can be seen embracing and shaking hands.
In his post, Rannvijay wrote, “Welcome to #roadiesxx @elvish_yadav! You might be new to #roadies, but challenges toh tum roz paar karte ho (You overcome challenges every day)! With you in the mix, expect the unexpected. Best of luck for this new journey!”
Rannvijay, who was part of MTV Roadies from 2004 to 2020, first as a gang leader and later as the host, is known for his work on various MTV shows like MTV Stuntmania, MTV Splitsvilla, and MTV Troll Police.
Elvish Yadav, hailing from Wazirabad in Gurugram, rose to fame with his entertaining YouTube content and more recently, his victory in Bigg Boss OTT 2. He has also featured in popular music videos such as Hum Toh Deewane, Bolero, and Rao Sahab Rollin’.
In addition to Elvish, Roadies XX will also see the return of Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, and Rhea Chakraborty as gang leaders. Rannvijay shared a warm welcome for Rhea on Instagram as well, praising her resilience. “She is back to defend the title, the reigning Champ. A true warrior of the modern era. Have seen you grow up since you were 17.. and you are unstoppable.. welcome to #roadiesxx @rhea_chakraborty,” he wrote, adding muscle, star, and blast emojis for good measure.
The new show will be the 20th season with a huge legacy that has now become a huge phenomenon for every youth who wants to take a chance and explore if they can become a roadie or not. The show has not just attained a huge title but also raised the bar high each time which has now become a legacy and a challenging dream for every youth.
Meanwhile, the return of Rannvijay back to the warzone as a host will be an exceptional turn for the upcoming show as he has been part of this show since its inception and had a wonderful journey from winning to becoming its legendary host.
In a statement, the 41-year-old host-actor expressed his excitement about returning to the show. Rannvijay said, “Roadies isn’t just a show, it’s an emotion for me, it’s my comfort zone, I’m home. MTV Roadies Double Cross’ auditions will begin from Delhi on 13th October, Chandigarh on 15th October, Hyderabad on 18th October, and Pune on 20th October.
The new season will stream on the JioCinema platform.
