Actor Jagapathi Babu is known for his works in Telugu cinema. He’s also appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada movies. According to sources, he has appeared in 170 feature films and garnered four Filmfare Awards and seven state Nandi Awards. He is quite active on social media. Recently, he revealed that he was cheated by a real estate company. He didn’t reveal the name of the organisation. Jagapathi Babu spoke about his ordeal on social media. He said: “Frauds are happening more in real estate. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy also warned in this regard. Recently I acted in a real estate ad. They cheated me too. Who are they? What happened? I will tell you soon. Must know Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) regulations before buying land. Don’t fall into anyone’s trap.”
Jagapathi Babu made his Telugu debut with the film Simha Swapnam (1989), produced by his father and directed by V Madhusudhana Rao. His first commercially successful picture, Peddarikam, was released in 1992. He got his breakthrough after appearing in the 1993 film Gaayam, directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Since then, he has never looked back.
He has worked in a number of popular films like Chilakapachcha Kaapuram, Maa Aavida Collector, Athade Oka Sainyam, Maa Nanna Chiranjeevi, and Good Luck Sakhi.
Jagapathi Babu was recently seen in the Telugu-language romantic action drama film, The Family Star. Parasuram wrote and directed the film, which is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creation banner. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur as leads.
Jagapathi Babu will soon be seen in the upcoming film Pushpa 2: The Rule. Sukumar directed and wrote this Telugu-language action drama film under his name Sukumar Writings, which is produced jointly by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under their Mythri Movie Makers banner. The film stars Allu Arjun in the title character, alongside an ensemble cast that includes Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjaya, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Rao Ramesh, Ajay, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Shanmukh, and Ajay Ghosh, all of whom reprise their roles from the previous film. It is the second film in the Pushpa series and the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise.
