Director Shankar’s Daughter Aishwarya Gets Married Again; Pics With Nayanthara, Vignesh Go Viral

Director Shankar’s daughter Aishwarya Shankar has recently tied the knot with Tarun Karthikeyan. This is her second marriage. Well, many celebrities including Rajinikanth, and Kamal Haasan were seen attending the function. Actress Nayanthara and her husband Vignesh Shivan were also seen participating. The photos have gone viral on social media.

Entertainment portal Pinkvilla shared the photos on their Instagram handle. The couple is seen posing with Nayanthara and Vignesh. The actress opted for a lavender colour saree and kept her makeup minimalistic. She is surely looking very pretty. The marriage took place in Chennai. Aishwarya’s younger sister Aditi Shankar shared some pictures with her sister on social media. She wrote, “With my two favourite people in the world (two hearts emojis) @aishushankar8 @arjith_shankar What a beautiful and memorable day!! (bull’s eye emoji).”

Aishwarya is Shankar’s eldest daughter and also happens to be a doctor by profession. This is her second marriage post her divorce from cricketer Damodaran Rohit. Damodaran was charged under the POCSO act after his name came up in a sexual harassment case filed by a 16-year-old girl, according to a News 18 report. Damodaran was the captain of Pondicherry cricket team when he refused to take action against his team’s coach. The 16-year-old had accused the coach of sexual assault.

Hindustan Times reported that Aishwarya is doctor by profession. She was earlier married to cricketer Damodaran Rohit. Damodaran was charged under the POCSO act after his name came up in a sexual harassment case filed by a 16-year-old girl, according to a News 18 report.

Coming to Nayanthara, she is set to reunite with her Love Action Drama co-star, Nivin Pauly, in the upcoming film Dear Students. An exclusive video was released by the makers, announcing the actress as the new addition to the film, through a motion poster.

The clip was posted on the official YouTube channel of Pauly Jr Pictures. The clip opens with an empty and windy classroom, with some sheets that look like students’ test papers, being scattered due to the wind. These sheets then somehow reach the cabin of one of the teachers. As the papers are released in the wind, the mysterious teacher aims a pen cap to its middle and throws it with force. The sheets, stained with blue ink, get stuck on the front wall, on the far side of the teacher’s cabin. The stained ink expands to draw itself into Nayanthara’s face outline, seen carrying a fierce expression. It is then followed by the actress’s name in bold letters. The whole statement is revealed to be, “Nayanthara on board,” announcing the actress as a cast member.
