Dia Mirza tied the knot with businessman and investment banker Vaibhav Rekhi on February 15, 2021. The couple welcomed their first child together, Avyaan, in May of the same year.
Before marrying Vaibhav Rekhi, Dia Mirza was previously married to Sahil Sangha. They separated in August 2019. Meanwhile, Vaibhav Rekhi was previously married to Sunaina Rekhi, a yoga instructor and lifestyle coach, with whom he has a daughter.
On the professional front, Dia Mirza is set to appear in the upcoming mini-series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, directed by Anubhav Sinha and Trishant Srivastava. The series chronicles the hijacking of an Indian Airlines flight en route from Kathmandu to Delhi on December 24, 1999. The flight was diverted to Kandahar, which was under Taliban control at the time. The cast includes Patralekhaa, Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Pankaj Kapoor, Ellie Flory Fawcett, and others. She will also be seen in Shauna Gautam’s Naadaniyaan, alongside Khushi Kapoor and Suniel Shetty.
