South star Dhanush is gearing up for an eventful year ahead, with multiple film projects in the lineup. Among his upcoming projects, Raayan holds special importance as it marks his milestone 50th film as an actor and director. Now, the fervour around this movie has been amped up after the reported release date of its audio launch. As per reports, the audio launch of this movie will be held on June 1 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. According to the reports, Raayan’s composer AR Rahman’s concert will also be organised at this audio launch. There is another news that has made this audio launch the talk of the town. According to the reports, the filmmakers who have directed Dhanush will also attend this event.
Raayan has also made it to the headlines after Sun TV unveiled the lyrical video of one of its tracks titled Adangaatha Asuran. It has been composed by AR Rahman, who – along with Dhanush – have rendered their vocals to this track. The lyrical video of the song has garnered more than 2 million views.
Raayan is billed to be a gangster drama set in the backdrop of north Chennai. Dhanush, Kalidas Jayaram, and Sundeep Kishan will portray the role of brothers in this film. The ensemble cast also includes SJ Suryah, Nithya Menen, Aparna Balamurali, K Selvaraghavan, and Saravanan in key roles. The film is slated for release on June 13 this year. Excitement is brewing among Dhanush’s followers as they eagerly await further updates and the release of Raayan. This film is billed to be yet another milestone in Dhanush’s illustrious career.
To celebrate the Tamil New Year, Dhanush unveiled a new poster of Raayan. This poster showcased himself alongside his co-stars Kalidas, Sundeep and the debutante female lead Dushara Vijayan. This poster provides the first glimpse of Dushara Vijayan’s character, adding to the movie’s anticipation.
Dhanush last acted in the film Captain Miller, directed by Arun Matheswaran. The film starred an ensemble cast of Aditi Balan, Priyanka Arulmohan and John Kokken.
