While Arijit Singh's apology letter to Salman Khan is being widely discussed no one actually knows what exactly had happened between the two of them and what show Singh was referring to in his post.
Turns out, the incident dates back to 2014 during a music awards show. A video has surfaced on Twitter which shows Singh accepting an award for his song in 'Aashiqui 2' from Riteish Deshmukh and Salman Khan. And Singh saying 'Ab logo ne sula diya ekdum'. To which Khan replies back, "Aur isme humara koi dosh nahi hai, agar aise gaane bajte rahenge.." and then sings Singh's song for him. Not too amused, Singh says, perhaps sarcasticly, 'Nice.'
This happened in 2014. Reason why Arijit Singh had to apologize. Looks like Salman can't take a joke & never forgets pic.twitter.com/q3Vki2FKUB— Aditya (@forwardshortleg) May 25, 2016
While the context of Singh's remark is not known, seems like the superstar could not take the joke in his stride. Which eventually led to Singh's exclusion from all of Khan's films.
