Unlucky Coldplay fans (count me in) were left heartbroken after three concerts in Mumbai got sold out. Coldplay tickets went up on sale on BookMyShow on Sunday, September 22. Initially, Coldplay had announced two shows, set to take place on January 18 and January 19. As soon as the tickets went live, BookMyShow crashed and revived. Within an hour, both the shows got sold out. The group then announced the third show and within minutes, the third show was sold out.
Several heartbroken fans took to X and expressed their disappointment.

For the ones who didn’t, we have good news — there is a possible second chance of getting the tickets. It was previously revealed that Coldplay tickets would go on sale on September 22. However, in the same announcement, Coldplay revealed they will launch a limited number of Infinity Tickets for the India tour.
BookMyShow Live revealed the limited number of Infinity Tickets available for the shows at 12 PM IST on Friday, November 22, 2024 on BookMyShow. According to the system, Coldplay offers a surprise seating arrangement which will only be revealed on the day of the event.
What Are Infinity Tickets?
Infinity Tickets are released for every Coldplay show to make the Music Of The Spheres World Tour accessible to fans for an affordable price. They will cost the local currency equivalent of €20 (INR 2000) per ticket and must be bought in pairs.
The platform added that the tickets are restricted to a maximum of two tickets per purchaser and must be bought in pairs (which will be located next to each other). Locations will be revealed when fans pick up their tickets in person at the box office on the day of the show and can be throughout the venue from the floor to the upper levels, side view seats, and everywhere in between.
