Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5, hosted by actor Riteish Deshmukh, has commenced streaming on Colors Marathi at 9 pm and JioCinema. The contestants include Indian Idol winner Abhijeet Sawant, actress Nikki Tamboli and others. Social media influencer Suraj Chavan is also participating in the show. With just a few days in the Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5 house, Suraj has been receiving accolades from the viewers and housemates as well. Recently, the channel Colors unveiled a promo of the reality show on Instagram. In this promo, Suraj can be seen dusting and cleaning the house. At this point, Marathi influencer Ankita Prabhu Walawalkar and actor Pandharinath Kamble can be seen praising Suraj. While the former expressed sympathy for Suraj, the latter recalled that he was feeling sad yesterday and requested him to sleep downstairs. Ankita added that Suraj didn’t understand the game, but could understand the people.
Social media users also expressed support for Suraj and one of them commented that he has never bad-mouthed any housemate. Rakhi Sawant, actress and former Bigg Boss participant, also appreciated the social media influencer. Actor and the winner of Bigg Boss Marathi Season 4, Akshay Kelkar dropped a heart emoticon for Suraj.
A few days back, Suraj had dominated the headlines due to his heated confrontation with another contestant and actress Nikki Tamboli in the house. The conflict started when Suraj pointed out Nikki’s behaviour regarding the house rules. This soon escalated into a heated argument. The influencer, who is known for his introverted nature, noticed that Nikki Tamboli had used the bed. She even sat on it despite being specifically asked not to do so by Bigg Boss. He reminded Nikki that just the previous day, she had an argument with Varsha Usgaonkar over the same matter.
Varsha had erroneously sat on the bed, which led to Nikki’s outburst. Suraj’s main argument was that due to Ante Sundharaniki’s actions, everyone in the house would have to face the consequences. Nikki, who doesn’t like to give in, warned Suraj not to challenge her. She threatened him that otherwise, he would see a different, more aggressive side of her.
