Badshah and Arijit Singh bring the house down in Thailand with thier joint performance.

Badshah took Arijit Singh’s blessings before they set the stage on fire together. Badshah and Arijit were in Thailand recently, hosting a concer in Bangkok together. As part of the concert, Badshah and Arijit sang the song Soulmate, from Badshah’s newly released album titled Ek Tha Raja. However, before he could sing the track, Badshah walked up on stage and fell on Arijit’s feet.

In a video shared on X, previously known as Twitter, Arijit was already on the stage when Badshah walked up and greeted him. The rapper, who is older than Arijit, fell on the singer’s feet before hugging him. They then sang the song. The video was shared by a fan on X with the caption, “What a Moment!! Badshah touched Arijit Singh’s feet.. Soulmate live at Bangkok, Thailand.”

Fans lauded Badshah for respecting Arijit. “Badshah is older than him, but he respect him that much ,” a comment read. “Respect for badshah, gurudev ,” added another.

Badshah opened up about collaborating with Arijit in an interview with Variety. “I was really excited about working with Arijit Singh because he’s someone I’ve looked up to. And, more than that, I was just happy to be in his company and learn a lot of things from him. Because, he for me is like a higher power,” Badshah said.

“I composed and wrote the lyrics for the song and sent it to him. When it came back, it was a different song. I was literally crying listening to my composition in his voice. That was an almost supernatural catharsis.”

Ek Tha Raja released last month. Besides collaborating with Arijit, Badhshah has also collaborated with several other rappers and singers. These include Divine and MC Stan.
