Babil Khan Admits He Is 'Struggling To Adjust To Fame': 'I Know You Think That I’m Fake'
In his lengthy note, Babil Khan says he is not trying to act kind, but this is how he was raised.

Babil Khan took to his Instagram handle recently and penned down a long note. Late actor Irrfan Khan’s son gave a befitting reply to those who call him “fake”. This comes days after a video of Babil went viral on social media in which he was seen apologising to a woman for photobombing her.

In his lengthy post, Babil Khan shared that he is aware that many call him “fake” or “pretentious”. The Railway Men actor mentioned that he is not trying to act kind, but this is how he was raised.

“All I did was introduce myself, ‘Hi, I’m Babil,’ and the way you looked at me changed. I know that look, I know that you think that I’m fake, ‘he’s pretentious, trying to act humble when he’s sure that I know his name.’ Or something else like, if I’m too sorry when I apologize. I am not strategized, it’s just the way I’ve been raised (sic),” he wrote.

The 26-year-old actor admitted that he is “struggling” to adjust to fame and added, “I am who I am, and that’s just the way I behave, but I know that it’s strange to see something new when all of the clones look the same. But if I’m honest with you, the truth is that I’m just struggling to adjust to fame. I put in the work, and I deal with the pain, and I guess someday it’ll pay.”

“And I care about you, I care what you think, but I guess it’s time for a change. The same things that you loved me for are now your weapons to hate. But I see you, the real ones, the day ones, the ones that never switched lanes. You’re family to me, I’ll be there for you, you’re the reason I stay in the game. This is our army. I love you,” Babil Khan concluded.

Lately, Babil Khan has been sharing several lengthy notes online. A few days back, he also shared his late father’s photos and penned down a heartfelt note, promising never to give up. “You taught me to be a warrior, but engage with love and kindness. You taught me of hope and you taught me to fight for the people. You do not have fans, you have a family, and I promise you baba I will fight for our people and our family till you call upon me. I will not give up. I love you so much,” the actor wrote.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Babil Khan started his Bollywood journey with Qala and was recently seen in The Railway Men. He will soon be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s The Umesh Chronicles with Amitabh Bachchan.
