Atif Aslam To Make His Malayalam Singing Debut With This Film
Atif Aslam’s song in the movie will mark his comeback in the Indian film industry after a gap of seven long years following a ban on Pakistani artists.

Well-known Pakistani singer Atif Aslam is all set to make his debut in the Malayalam film industry. In a recent announcement, the popular singer is set to sing a song for the film Haal.

The movie Haal will be directed by Prashanth Vijayakumar and produced by JVJ Productions. Atif’s song in this movie will mark his comeback in the Indian film industry after a gap of seven long years following a ban on Pakistani artists by the Indian Government. The film is set to feature Shane Nigam in the lead role.

The movie Haal tells about the importance of music in everyone’s life while also revolving around a love story. The filming of the movie is set to start in Kozhikode and as the shooting continues, the crew will also travel to Mysore and Jordan. Shane Nigam who is set to portray the lead role will join the shooting for the first week of May after the completion of his present work. The actor is reportedly busy in the shooting of the Tamil film Madraskaaran.

The lead actor posted an old picture of him and Atif mentioning about his excitement as he is set to work with the singer for the first time. Shane posted the picture on his Instagram handle and captioned it, “Aadat, Woh Lamhe, Tere Bin and almost all your songs are the ones that are always close to my heart. Your voice soothes our souls. I am truly blessed to have gotten the opportunity to meet you and have you lend your voice to a song in haal. I am already addicted to this song, I hope everyone will love it too.”

Atif Aslam made his debut in the Bollywood film industry with the song Woh Lamhe Woh Baatein from the 2005 film Zeher. The song attracted massive applause from the audience. He sang popular songs like Dil Diyan Gallan, Jeene Laga Hoon, Jeena Jeena, Bakhuda Tumhi Ho, Allah Duhai Hai, etc. With some of his mind-blowing songs, he gained a huge fanbase in India. He worked with some well-known music composers including Pritam, Sachin-Jigar and Mithoon. With his graceful voice, he continues to captivate the Indian audience as he gets ready for his first Malayalam song.
