Chennai: Actress Anupama Parameswaran has been roped in as the leading lady in writer-turned-director Satish Vegesna's upcoming Telugu film ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’, which features Raj Tarun in the lead.
‘After much contemplation, Anupama has been finalised as the heroine. This will be the first time Raj and Anupama will be seen as a pair,’ a source from the film's unit told IANS.
The project will be bankrolled by Dil Raju, and it's slated to go on the floors from May onwards.
While the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised, the makers have initiated talks with music composer Mickey J. Meyer.
Meanwhile, Anupama, who is much in demand in Telugu and Tamil film industries, has four projects in her kitty, including Dhanush's ‘Kodi’.
