Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are undoubtedly one of the most popular actor-director duos in Bollywood. They have delivered blockbusters together and are currently awaiting the release of their highly anticipated film, Singham Again. Rohit has now dropped a happy video to cherish their bond, as Ajay finishes shooting for the fifth installment in the Cop Universe, which started almost 13 years ago with Singham.
The text in the video reads, “Today we complete 13 years of Singham and look at the magic of destiny. Today we also wrapped Singham Again with Ajay sir. This is my 13th film with him as a director but the journey began back in the 90’s when I was working under him. 33 years later and we are still going strong. See you at the cinemas this Diwali.” The video was also accompanied by a caption that read, “13 years of Singham, 33 years of brotherhood @ajaydevgn #SinghamAgain.”

Rohit Shetty entered the film industry as an assistant director at the age of just 17. He assisted Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Phool Aur Kaante’. After that, he went on to work as an AD for almost 13 years. Back in 2003, he made his directorial debut with Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan in the action thriller Zameen.
With multiple films, the director has a special love for stories revolving around police officers. He successfully managed to create a cop universe in Bollywood with three hit films Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. The three superstars will now unite in Singham Again.
Besides Ajay Devgn, Singham Again will also star Arjun Kapoor in a key role. He recently wrapped up shooting for the film and shared on social media, “Rohit Shetty ke cop universe ka villain !!! I have wrapped up my work on ‘Singham Again’ !!! My 20th film & one of the biggest milestones of my career with a director who is the boss of MASS CINEMA !!! I feel blessed to be a part of one of the most entertaining franchises in Indian cinema. Can’t wait for our hard work to light up the silver screen soon !!!”
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Deepika Padukone will also be joining Rohit Shetty’s movie. The film will also introduce Tiger Shroff into the cop universe.
