Marathi actress Tejashri Pradhan suffered a tragic loss in her personal life last year. Her mother, Seema Pradhan, passed away on November 16, 2023. According to reports, Seema succumbed to illness at her Mumbai home. Her family members have yet to reveal any information about the illness.
Recently, Tejashri Pradhan shared an emotional tribute to her late mother on Instagram, capturing the hearts of her followers. The post, which comes six months after her mother’s death, includes a photo of the duo at a public event.
In the photo, Tejashri is seen wearing a black saree, standing next to her mother, who is dressed in a vibrant blue saree.
Tejashri’s caption filled with love and nostalgia reflects her deep feelings of loss and remembrance. “It’s been six months, but the pain feels as fresh as ever,” she wrote. Reportedly, Seema Pradhan played a major role in kickstarting Tejashri’s career in the entertainment industry. She worked with her mother on three films, after which she started working independently.

She is known for appearing in shows and films like Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi, Sharyat, Lagna Pahave Karun, Dr Prakash Baba Amte, Judgement and Asehi Ekada Vhave. She made her film debut with the 2010 Marathi film Zenda. She has also worked as a host in the singing reality show Sur Nava Dhyas Nava. She made her acting debut in Bollywood with the film Babloo Bachelor in 2021.
