Actress Poonam Kaur Calls Pawan Kalyan A 'Conspiring Cheater'? What We Know

Actress Poonam Kaur aka Puunam Khaur has once again taken a dig at actor and Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan. Recently, Poonam shared a tweet that has stirred quite a conversation among netizens. In her tweet, Kaur stated, “Losing as a principled warrior is better than winning as a conspiring cheater.”

The timing of the tweet coincides closely with the recent electoral victory of Pawan Kalyan in Andhra Pradesh, prompting rumours that Kaur’s message might be an indirect comment on the political figure. Fans are furious about the tweet she shared on the X platform.

Previously, Poonam Kaur filed a complaint with the Cyber Crimes Unit of Hyderabad Police in 2019. The leaked audio clips, in which Poonam talks about actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, his close aide, director Trivikram Srinivas and several Tollywood actresses, first surfaced online a month ago. However, speaking to Hyderabad Times, Poonam said she was unaware of it until her cousins brought it to her attention on April 14.

“I was busy with my life, doing yoga, going on spiritual journeys and meeting different people when this hit me like a bolt from the blue. My cousins called me to inform me about this audio clip and that too on Baisakhi day. When I heard them, I was shocked. How can someone play with my life like this and make me a scapegoat? I had to take a stand and put an end to this nonsense and so I filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Department on Tuesday. I have asked the cops to delete all the audio clips that were captioned #PawanLeaks and linked to me,” said Poonam.

The Andhra Pradesh government on Friday designated Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan as Deputy Chief Minister. The actor-turned-politician has been allotted Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Environment, Forests, and Science and Technology portfolios. The Rural Water Supply department would also be handled by Kalyan.

“Congratulations to Pawan Kalyan on becoming the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. I congratulate all my colleagues in the cabinet on being assigned their portfolios,” said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in a post on X.
