When actors participate in India’s most popular reality show Bigg Boss, they make the decision of quitting their shows, putting their movie shootings on hold and so on. This year too, we had some actors like Pavitra Punia who quit her show Baalveer. Similarly, Eijaz Khan had put his movie shooting on hold and it resumed exactly on completion of three months – the duration of the reality show. However, like last season, the recent one was also extended by few weeks and the actor had to leave the show mid-way to finish shooting.
The actors so easily give up on their already established shows is because Bigg Boss is known to pave way for the participants into bigger and better career opportunities. While some become a household name overnight and get projects even before the reality show concludes – like season 13’s Shehnaaz Gill was offered ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’ even before the show had ended, others return to doing the same shows which they had left for the reality show.
Pavitra Punia – She has appeared in TV shows like Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Sasural Simar Ka and many more. Before entering Bigg Boss 14, the actress was seen in show Balveer as Timnasa. However, when she was offered the reality show she quit Balveer to participate on the same. From Bigg Boss, the actress got evicted on Day 57 and within a few days made a comeback on Balveer.
Rubina Dilaik – Known for playing Radhika in TV’s popular show Chotti Bahu, she was last seen in show Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. However, she quit the show in January last year. A few months later, she participated in Bigg Boss 14 with her husband, actor Abhinav Shukla. She emerged as the winner of the show and took home Rs 36 lakh. Recently, the actress had posted some pictures of herself in saree on social media and hinted a comeback on her show Shakti. Meanwhile, she will also soon be seen in a music video titled Mar Janeya with Abhinav.
Naina Singh – Naina made her acting debut with show Kumkum Bhagya, where she played the role of Rhea Mehra. When she participated in Bigg Boss 14 as a wild car contestant, she had to quit the show. She got evicted from the house very soon and by that time actress Pooja Banerjee had already replaced her in Kumkum Bhagya.
Arti Singh – Season 13’s contestant Arti, who was seen in TV show Udaan before entering the house, had also returned to the show. On Bigg Boss, she had reached top five and exited the house on the finale night.
