A few hours after the ADG sealed the office premises, four other Railway Police personnel, who were quarantined at the GRP Lines in Charbagh, tested positive for the coronavirus infection.

The man was staying in home quarantine after returning home on a cycle from Mumbai where he used to work in a steel factory. A friend said he was worried as he had no money left.

Police are investigating if this was an act of mischief or a conspiracy, an official said. They are looking into the call details of the number from which the message was sent, he said.

Around 2,500 workers demonstrated by burning tyres near Mathura, claiming that the authorities did not arrange for any facilities after they were made to stop from walking to their villages.
