Fouzia Azeem, popularly known as Qandeel Baloch was a Pakistani celebrity noted for her Instagram posts. While some people called her Pakistan’s Poonam Pandey, others compared her to Kim Kardashian.
Qandeel Baloch became an internet sensation when she promised to strip if Pakistan defeated India in the T20 World Cup 2016.
The model cum actor had earlier sent a message to Shahid Afridi before the big match that she was willing to give him ‘anything’ if his team beat India in the finals. She had also released a teaser of her strip dance which went viral.
This act, not only shocked many in the country, but also fetched her a huge fan following. She gained followers on social media with her risqué videos which prompted a lot of discussions and debates.
Baloch married Ashiq Hussain in 2008 and had a son with him. The two of them, however, separated in 2010 with Baloch claiming that her husband was abusive.
Qandeel’s career includes numerous television appearances. She had also appeared as a contestant for the popular show 'Pakistani Idol'.
Amid the entire fan following and admiration, the starlet also invited a lot of back-lashing for her bold and suggestive posts.
She recently hogged the limelight when the news of her participating in ‘Bigg Boss’ started doing the rounds of social media.

She was reportedly shot dead by her brother on July 16 in Multan. The brother allegedly was not happy with her latest video 'Ban'.
